February is American Heart Month and we’ve decided that it should go to the dogs! This week we’re going to share tips to help your hound get heart smart. We’ll focus on food and movement to help your dog feel his best and they might help you too!
Day 4 - In our Food Tips, we’ll focus on Chicken Hearts. For our Movement Tips, we’ll talk about playing hide and seek with your dog.
Food Tips: Chicken Hearts –
Chicken hearts are packed with Vitamin B. Your dog’s heart can benefit from this Vitamin B as it helps keep blood moving freely by reducing stress within the blood vessels. They are also a great source for iron and zinc which help your dog’s heart beat properly. We’re a big fan of eating raw and we believe freeze drying is just as good.
