Our summer series concludes today with sweet, refreshing recipe. Part 5 of our Foods to Cool your Canine series – KiwiMelon Kups. This recipe uses 2 cooling ingredients: watermelon and kiwi. They are served frozen.
We begin this recipe with the following ingredients:
2 cups watermelon
3 kiwis, sliced, and peeled
5-7 paper cups
Place the watermelon in your food processor and puree until smooth. Spoon into the cups until about 2/3 full. Place on a cookie sheet and freeze for about 3-4 hours. Remove from freezer and top with pureed kiwis. Freeze again. Serve when completely frozen.
