The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is just days away. Your Pet Chef created a fun collection of treats to celebrate this event that uses some of their favorite foods as inspiration. Learn more here.
This week, we want to share some easy recipes you can make based on these treats. Let’s dive right in.
The Second treat is Meatloaf Minis. This treat is based on a favorite food from Meghan’s childhood. She loved the smell of her mom’s meatloaf baking and has even made this meal for her soon to be husband. Our shared recipe uses just 4 ingredients – Turkey, carrots, celery, and an egg. The great part about this recipe is its versatility - you can serve it to your dog raw or baked.
We add the carrots, celery and egg to our food processor. (Bonus egg with a double yolk!)
Puree them until smooth.
Add the turkey.
Now the “batter” is ready for freezing or baking. We use silicone molds to make our food as they can be frozen or baked. Spoon the batter into the mold.
You can freeze at this point or bake. Our example for this recipe will be baked.
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to cool.
Ready to serve.
These Meatloaf Minis are a perfect meal replacement for your pup or a snack for your larger dog.
